Week 1: Rock Solid Science

June 1st - 5th (Ages 5-12)

Rock Solid Science: Slide into the fascinating world of geology during our week of camp: Rock Solid Science! Campers will explore different types of rocks and minerals, discover the plants that shape our environment, and learn how all these elements work together to make our world truly unique.

 

Week 2: Beginner LEGO Robots OR Engineering in Motion

 

June 8th-12th (Ages 5-8 ONLY)

Beginner LEGO Robots OR Engineering in Motion:

We²e excited to introduce our brand-new LEGO Robots SPIKE set for ages 5 to 8! Using hands-on curriculum developed by LEGO Education, campers will build, program, and explore as they discover the fundamentals of robotics through creativity and play. Our new LEGO Robots were funded by donations from our community in Fort Wayne!

Discover how objects work together through motion and momentum! Campers will design and build their own chain reaction machines to accomplish a fun mission. Along the way, they will explore the physics of motion, cause and effect, and engineering principles as they test, modify, and bring their creations to life.

Note: Campers do not get to keep the robot.

Week 3: Advanced LEGO Robots OR Engineering in Motion

June 15th-19th (Ages 8-12 ONLY)

Advanced LEGO Robots OR Engineering in Motion: We²e excited to introduce our brand-new LEGO Robots SPIKE set for ages 8 to 12! Week 4: Clue Chasers

June 22nd-26th (Ages 5-12)

Clue Chasers: Solve the mystery of the summer by following the clues in this classic whodunit adventure! Campers will use their detective skills to investigate evidence, question suspects, and form hypotheses to uncover what really happened. Along the way, they will learn how real detectives crack cases while exploring the scientific method step by step.

Week 5: Wings, Wheels, and Flight

July 6th - 10th (Ages 5-12)

Wings, Wheels, and Flight: Take flight to new heights as campers explore what makes birds, planes, and other objects soar through the sky! Through hands-on activities, they will discover the principles of aerodynamics, investigate different methods of flight, and learn how animals use their bodies to lift off, glide, and fly.

Week 6: Wild Wonders

July 13th - 17th (Ages 5-11)

Wild Wonders: Look deeper on the wild side of our planet as we investigate our animal kingdoms! Explore the lives of the animals in our building and beyond as campers learn about the different ways animals interact with each other. Campers will take a field trip to our Fort Wayne Zoo during one day of our camp, where you will drop your camper off at the zoo during normal drop off times and pick up at the zoo during normal pick up times. If you are interested in being a chaperone for a low cost, please let me know in your camper request form.

 

Week 7: Mission: Stars and Space

July 20th - 24th (Ages 5-12)

Mission: Stars and Space: Travel to the outer edges of our known universe and beyond! Campers will learn about the cosmic bodies that are in our universe like stars, planets, and other amazing objects. Campers will get the opportunity to have extended experiences in our brand new planetarium!

There is an overnight included in the cost of this camp happening on the Thursday (Day 4) of this week. THERE IS NO CAMP DURING THE DAY ON THURSDAY. Check in for the overnight will start at 5pm, campers are not to stay overnight. Parents or family members are welcome to stay with your camper. Check out on Friday (Day 5) will happen at 3pm, instead of 4pm.
