A special quiet room will be available with sensory toys and games. An adult changing table is located in our family restroom on the Lower Level. Additional staff will be present.

Today's Observers, Tomorrow's Scientists (TOTS) is a program for our littlest explorers. Children ages 3-6 are invited to bring an adult for hands-on activities, story time, and free play in Kids Central.

Week 4 - SCI-FI & Fantasy

Starting July 10th (Ages 5-12)

SCI-FI & Fantasy: How much science is there in your favorite movies? Explore the science and the science fiction of superheroes and movies. Join us as we look at the science behind the super.

Week 5 - 3D Printing and Design

Starting July 17th (Ages 9-12)

3D Printing and Design: Put your design skills to the test. Learn about how technology and art combine as we learn the art and science of computer design as you create your own 3D printed item to take home!

 

Week 5 - Intro to LEGO Robots

Starting July 17th (Ages 5-8)

LEGO Robots: In this introduction version of our popular LEGO robotics camp, you will learn basic computer programming to teach your robot to do what you want it to do, and more! The last day of camp includes an epic sumo wrestling battle!

Note: Campers do not get to keep the robot.

Week 6 - Applied Programming Camp

Starting July 24th (Ages 9-12)

Applied Programming Camp: Learn how to program lights, sounds, games, and more with a hand-held circuit board. Find out how the electronics we use in out everday lives work as we explore the inner-workings and practical uses of computers and programming.

Note: Campers do not get to keep the items that we will be programing.

 

Week 6 - Don’t Try This At Home!

Starting July 24th (Ages 5-8)

Don't Try This At Home!: Join us at Science Central and dive into the heart-stopping side of science! Play with fire and extreme cold, see what it's like to be inside a bubble, create messy concoctions, and drop things from great heights! All this and more explosive fun awaits!

 

Week 7 - High Altitude Balloon Camp

Starting July 31st (Ages 10-16)

High Altitude Balloon Camp: Send your science experiments to the edge of space and back at Science Central's first ever High Altitude Balloon Camp. Join us as we talk about the atmosphere of planets and practice our engineerig skills as we launch giant, hydrogen-filled balloons and analyze real atmospheric data.

Notes: This camp will also include an overnight at Science Central on the last day!

Celebration Kit

Celebrate anything you wish, at home! Kits include materials and instructions for experimenting, amusing, and celebrating!
