1.0 AM Junior LEGO Robotics (Ages 5-8)

In this junior version of our popular LEGO robotics camp, you will learn basic computer programming to teach your robot to sing, dance, navigate a maze, and more! The last day of camp includes an epic sumo wrestling battle!

Note: Campers do not get to keep the robot.

1.0 PM Introduction to LEGO Robotics (Ages 8-11)

Using basic principles of engineering and computer programming, campers will design, build, and program a robot to perform different tasks. The last day of camp includes an epic sumo wrestling battle!

Note: Campers do not get to keep the robot.

2.0 AM Introduction to Gaming (Ages 5-9)

Create your own animated video and computer games. Construct characters and stories as you progress from learning the drag-and-drop programming method to writing your own commands. At the end of the week, you may save your programs to continue at home and to show your friends!

Notes:

Bring ear buds if you would like to cut down on outside noise, and a USB flash drive if you want to save your program.

2.0 PM Introduction to Gaming (Ages 10-13)

2.5 Full S.T.E.A.M. Punk (Ages 8-13)

Dive into the artistic side of science and technology! Use your imagination and delve into the science behind film making, explore 3D technology, and even take a stab at programming Science Central’s Science on a Sphere exhibit!

4.0 AM Introduction to EV3 LEGO (Ages 5-8)

Using basic principles of engineering, computer programming, and the newest LEGO robotics technology, you will design, build, and program an EV3 robot to perform different tasks. The last day of camp includes an epic sumo wrestling battle.

4.0 PM LEGO Games!(Ages 10-13)

Based on First LEGO League, this advanced LEGO Robotics camp focuses on more sophisticated programming and more complex problem-solving. You will work in teams as you explore solutions to LEGO challenges and uncover innovative ways to teach and learn. Prior experience with LEGO robotics is recommended. Note: Campers do not get to keep the robot.

5.0 AM Junior Computer Programmer (Ages 8-13)

Dissect a computer and explore the hardware that makes advanced computer technology possible. Then delve into the software side and uncover language through writing your own codes!

5.0 Full Engineering Tech! (Ages 10-13)

You are invited to explore engineering with the use of technology! Use technology to advance the physical creations you’ll build. Then, complete challenges with your creations and by the end of the week become master engineers!

5.0 PM Ms. Tech (Ages 8-13)

Come experience a sampling of Science Central’s most popular technology programs in this Girls Only IT experience! Discover where your interests lie as we explore elements of photography, virtual reality, robotics, and video design. At the end of the week, you may save your programs to continue at home and show your friends!
